Owning a quality database represents a prerequisite for economic development management at the local level. A quality database should include local government units that are up-to-date, relevant and useful information that is displayed in a simple form, easy to handle, to be used in everyday work and in a creative and innovative way.
The purpose of this seminar is to clarify the key concepts related to the establishment, maintenance and use of databases on the private sector, as a key instrument for targeted and systematic development management.
The purpose of data analysis is to be based on defined needs and shortcomings and to propose appropriate measures and specific information and/or interventions aimed at solving the problems and demands of the private sector.
One of the ways of providing support to economic development is collecting data and preparing information for a particular investor or company in development.
