WHAT WE DID
DCG provided assistance to the six selected cities and municipalities in the process of removing barriers to attracting investments into 15 selected locations, as well as guiding them through the process of investment attraction through direct marketing activities and contact with potential investors.
The Project has defined a preliminary set of criteria for selection of the companies, including: demonstrated potential for consolidation and growth, long standing relationships with customers or potential for development of the new markets, brand recognition, significant fixed assets etc.
DCG developed the questionnaires for each local economic development office (hereinafter: LEDOs) in each out of six selected cities (The city of Nis, Vranje, Leskovac) and municipalities (Gadzin Han, Merosina, Vladicin Han), which contain basic information on the selected locations that will be made available to the experts at the early start of the project.

Preparation of a detailed report with key findings, lessons learned and recommendations for the locations
Preparing a Professional Business Offering Package and Online Teasers
Organization of data on brownfield location and selection of contact for online portal and brochure (teaser)
Use and testing of online database model
Targeted marketing of at least 3 brownfield locations through “business mentorship”
Facilitation of online mentorship exchange
Identifying concrete investment opportunities and facilitating investments
Assistance to each of the companies to reach essential points of understanding with prospective investor with respect to the most significant elements of a desired agreement – preparation of “terms sheets” or “letters of intent”
