WHAT WE DID
Reforms introduced to the Macedonian educational system under the Municipal Management of Macedonian Schools Program were beginning to give previously unknown control over certain aspects of local public education to Macedonian local governments. However, local governments lacked experience and guidance how to manage their local schools and were uncertain how their activities corresponded with ongoing national government general oversight over local education.
Trained Program staff about specific aspects of local government assessment and monitoring and evaluation techniques
Assisted during assessment of selected Program local governments
Created Project Management Plan methodologies and specific outcome indicators
Identified data sources and developed reporting timetables
Assisted Program management in preparing Project Management Plan reports and presentations
Designed, prepared and delivered training manuals
